I have worked in a variety of healthcare contexts and community settings. My experience as an artist working in hospitals has included: developing creative collaborations with people affected by a brain injury; supporting people affected by a stroke to create their own artworks; as well as working as an curator and project manager repsponsible to NHS Trusts and governing bodies. I am interested in the role the arts can play towards assisting communication and understanding of human experience as lived and embodied, particularly as evidenced in the project Mouths and Meaning.
