Performances

 I developed a few performances whilst at artschool having been inspired by radical performances of the1970's particularly by artists such as Gina Pane, Stelarc and Stuart Brisley who took considerable risks with their own bodies. However since I initally devised the performance Meeting Nude Woman Walking on Balls (after Hans Baldung Grien) in 2003 I have continued to create performances and interventions in public spaces and in landscapes.

For Mouths and Meaning, with Sarah Coggrave we explored an activity that I had conducted as a child. This experimentation resulted in Untitled (The Potion) 2011 a short film that documents our own interpretations. We also created a sustained performantive work Untitled (The Party) 2012.  Untitled (The Party) wordlessly presents our relationships and attitudes to food through the shared lens of having been affected by and transformed through the experience of an eating disorder.  (For more information see Mouths and Meaning).
